Orders and Shipping

What's your Shipping Policy?

I offer a flat rate shipping service, starting from £2.75.

Delivery is all via Royal Mail First Class which is NOT a tracked service. If you need a traceable delivery, you can purchase upgraded tracked special delivery.

I cannot provide you with a tracking number unless you have chosen the upgraded service.

I post on a few days between Tuesday-Saturday.

Due to also being a full time mummy to our toddler son, I have extended dispatch times to give myself a little leeway, but I do try to dispatch as and when I can. Please do bear with me as I run the business by myself and do the majority of my dispatching in the evenings.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

All post is sent via Royal Mail's Click & Drop service.

UK DELIVERY

1st Class aim for 1-2 days

1st Class Recorded Delivery aim for 1-2 days

Special Delivery aim for next working day.

All subject from the day when the order is dispatched.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

  • Europe International Standard Airmail aim for 3-5 working days
  • Worldwide International Standard Airmail aim for 6-7 working days

Please bear in mind that all these delivery times are an estimate and could take longer depending on the service in your area.

Can I make changes to or cancel my order?

If your order is still pending delivery then yes, I should be able to update or cancel your order for you.

If your order has already been despatched then no, I cannot change it. Unfortunately it is just too late as the goodies will already be on their merry way to you.

Aaah, my delivery address is wrong. Please can I change it?

If your order is still pending delivery then yes, I will be able to update the delivery details for you. Phew! What a save!

If your order has already been despatched then no, I cannot change it. We then have to wait for the parcel to be returned to sender before we can go ahead and send a replacement. The speed in which this happens depends on the people at the other address putting the parcel back in the post box. I don't have a time estimate for this. We just have to be patient and trust it will eventually come back to Lady K HQ.

Can you send the order direct to the recipient?

Yes, just make sure you put their details in the delivery section and mark that the order is a gift. If you have a message to include then place that in the notes at checkout.

I'll then prepare your surprise order for them leaving out any invoice and just replacing this with a special card marked, "Awww, look...a lovely gift just for you! You lucky, lucky person!"

Return & Refund Policy

What's your Returns Policy?

Returns are accepted if you make contact within 28 days of your original purchase. If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

For hygiene reasons, earrings with attached studs components cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. If they are faulty, I require photographic proof for an exchange to be processed.

To return your product, you should mail your order invoice and product to: Lady K Designs, 18 Offerton Drive, Stockport, Cheshire, SK2 5QZ, United Kingdom.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. 

If you are shipping an item over £25, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

What's your Refund Policy?

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. 

Postage and packaging costs from your original purchase is non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of postage will be deducted from the total amount you paid.

Refunds processed will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Refunds are only made to the original purchaser.

Can sale items be refunded?

Sorry, only regular priced items that apply may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Can gift purchases be refunded?

Only gifts that are defective or damaged can be exchanged. If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a replacement, once I have received the returned item.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, I will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be notified on return.

Do you do exchanges?

Only items that are defective or damaged can be exchanged. You can only exchange it for a replacement of the same item.

Can gift cards be exchanged or refunded?

Due to the nature of the purchase and vouchers being sent out via email, gift cards are non-refundable.

The jewellery is not what I expected. Can I send it back for a refund?

I do my utmost to provide very accurate descriptions, measurements and photographic visuals, therefore the responsibility lies with you once you have made your purchase. I WILL NOT be held responsible for a purchase made in error when all details are provided for the buyer to make an informed decision about the items they choose to buy. Sorrwwy!

Delayed or Missing Post

My order hasn't arrived. Do you have a tracking number?

UK Delivery is all via Royal Mail First Class which is NOT a tracked service. If you purchased an upgraded service such as Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery then you will have been provided with a tracking number when your order was dispatched. If you need the number again then just contact me and I will provide you with the information.

International Delivery is all via Royal Mail Standard Airmail. This is NOT a tracked service.

I cannot provide you with a tracking number unless you have chosen an upgraded service. Sorry, but once I pass your parcel over to Royal Mail, it is their responsibility to get the package to you. 

Royal Mail state to wait 14 working days before a parcel can be considered lost in the UK and 28 days for overseas. I suggest waiting the length of time in your country to see if it turns up. If it is still a no show, then please get in touch at hello@ladykdesigns.co.uk.

My order arrived damaged. Can you send me a replacement?

Only items that are defective or damaged can be replaced. You can only exchange it for a replacement of the same item.

I require photographic proof of the damage for an exchange to be processed. This will enable me to process a claim will Royal Mail. You can forward the photograph to hello@ladykdesigns.co.uk, along with your name and order number.

General Questions

I have sensitive ears. What are your earrings made with?

I use stainless steel findings for the earrings. This is considered a hypoallergenic material so great for those sensitive ears.

How do I care for my jewellery?

Here's a handy guide on how to care for your brand spanking new jewellery.

  • You've just got your new sparklies. Hooraaay! Now firstly, be gentle when removing from the card packaging. Your new earring butterfly backs may be a little stiff at first but this will get better the more times you wear them. Try not to be too rough as this can weaken the glue. If the post comes away from the earring, then please contact me and I will advise you on how to repair them at home. If this happens within the first 14 days of receiving them, then I will happily repair them for you.
  • Please store your new jewellery in a clean & dry area. I tend to store mine in jewellery boxes. Genius, I know! Larger jewellery comes in its own gift box so this is ideal to keep in for future storage.
  • Try to avoid any contact with makeup, moisturiser, perfume or hairspray as this may cause damage/deterioration to your jewellery. Best to place your jewellery on after you're all dolled up and ready. Then take them off before your bedtime routine and place them pretties back in storage until the next outing.
  • Try your utmost not get your jewellery wet. No taking them for a shower, a bath or a swim. Your jewellery will not like this. :( Best just to remove them before making contact with any water. Avoiding the rain can sometimes not be possible. A light drizzle won't do any harm but don't do a full rendition of singing in the rain out there to test it out.
  • Your jewellery can be cleaned simply by using dry soft cloth or a microfibre cloth. Any marks then you can use a gentle wipe.

There you have it! That should keep your new bobby dazzlers going and you shining for all to see!

Oh no! My earring post has come away from the earring. What do I do?

First off, sorry that the post has come away from the earring. Sometimes the glue can loosen from the materials. I can't accept returns on jewellery but I can help you repair your earrings at home, or if it has happened with 14 days of purchase, then I will happily repair them myself free of charge.

Can you do an item I've seen in a different material?

Yea, sure! If I have the laser cut material in stock then I can certainly do this for you.

If I don't have the material in stock, then there could be a wait until I put my next laser order in.

Can you put a message inside the card I've bought?

Yes I can. Just include you message when making your purchase. You can then either choose to have the order sent to you or straight to the recipient.
